Za’atar Spice

Spicy bread dunk: chilli salt, toasted sesames, sumac, olive oil, and ciabatta to dip.

This recipe should be made to your taste. Keep the olive oil back until you’re ready to dunk bread in it, and add as much oil as you need.

Or save the spice mix for sprinkling over veggies, salads, or savoury breakfasts.

Mix together:

3-4 Tbsp fresh thyme (or dried)

1-2 Tbsp toasted sesames

2-3 tsp sumac

1-2 tsp ground chilli salt

A good splash of extra virgin olive oil

Dunk fresh sourdough ciabatta and enjoy!
